The Great Eastern fly-in and air show 2012 - CANCELLED
Byron Bay Microlights is taking part in Aviation section of Evans Head Fly-in/Airshow in January 2012. The Great Eastern Fly-In is a unique Australian aviation event. Pilots, their families and friends, Fly-In from all over Australia, to enjoy a great summer holiday with a difference! Locals, young and old, come to marvel at the latest in aircraft, air displays, and have the ride of their lives. The Evans Head Memorial Aerodrome is a unique part of WWII RAAF history and the home of the Great Eastern. Evans Head is located on the NSW North Coast, surrounded by National Parks and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
Kimberley adventure – April 2012— the first trip in the dry season
* Pictures from Kimberley by Peter Orczykowski. © 2011 This is the exciting opportunity to travel as a passenger in a microlight or, if you own an aircraft, “fly along” on a long distance cross country adventure. Everybody knows or heard about Kimberley so there is no need for lengthy introduction of this beautiful part of Australia.
They are two stages in the Kimberley adventure. The first leg, is a flight from Byron Bay to Derby. The second leg will take off from Derby after one or two days break.
