A Byron Bay Hotels Combined recommended business.

Now you can watch whales from the water and from the air when you book a combined whale watching experience.
The combined tour includes approximately 2.5 hours whale watching by boat and an opportunity to view whales  from above by taking a 30-40 minute flight

Tours are conducted every day during the whale watching season weather permitting. Whale Watching Byron Bay conducts small personalised boat tours with a maximum of 12 persons per vessel. For the flight you will be a passenger on a microlight, taking off from Tyagarah airstrip north of Byron Bay.

We try to align your flying experience with the next boat tour but there is no problem if you prefer to see whales in action at some other time.

Watching whales from above gives you an opportunity to observe their behaviour over a long distance. You can see them not only playing on the surface but also under water. There is also a chance that you will see dolphins, sea turtles, rays and even sharks. Sharks feeding on a school of fish is not an unusual sight and is both dramatic and fascinating to watch.

Combined Tour Price:  $240

Book the tour on web site or at the Byron Bay Dive Centre - 9 Marvel Street,
Byron Bay, Australia

We will supply an insulated flight suit for you and some warm clothing but if you feel more comfortable in your own bring them with you.

Pick up by car from Byron Bay by special arrangement.
Flying is weather dependent. Please call Richard on 0407 281 687 to confirm flying conditions.
